Gilly Beal

Artist

Introduction

- an exploration of the brushstroke

Gilly's work is an exploration of the brushstroke. Whether ink on paper, oil on canvas or photography, she is intrigued by how a simple gestural stroke can create a series of captivating lines. The subtlety of the mark-making creates visually stunning pieces that are full of energy, despite their deceptive simplicity.

She has an MA in Fine Art from Goldsmiths.
